200 Hour Teachers Training

in Swakopmund Namibia

Have you ever thought of deepening your practice and the connection with your true self.  In this teachers training you will receive the tools necessary to teach an amazing full spectrum yoga class,  with a strong foundation and clear techniques that will help you transform form a student of yoga to a teacher of yoga.  Our program will give you the skills to confidently teach an inspiring, safe, and expansive class to a wide range of students and abilities.  Full completion (200 hours of attendance, finished assignments, passes practicum yoga class) of the course is rewarded with a 200-hour yoga certificate as a Yoga Teacher and the ability to begin teaching yoga classes within the community.  Open to all levels of students who wish to deepen their own yoga practice,  share yoga informally with family and friends, or develop  a career.

 

  Example daily schedule:

08:00 - 09:00     Yoga class

09:30 - 11:30     Theory (philosophy/anatomy/physiology)

11:30 - 14:00     Break

14:00 - 16:00     Asana Lab ( proper alignment/prop usage/ teaching technique)

16:00 - 18:00     Break ( time for homework assignments)

18:00 - 19:30     Asana class (practicum teaching)

Training Ends:        Thursday 27 February 2020

*    All course work including yoga manual.

 

*   Copy of  Essential Teachings of Yoga - Pathways to Awaken the Bliss of Being by Shri Ramananda Mayi.

* Hatha Yoga, proper alignment, teaching and adjustment techniques, Modification of poses and variations, prop usage.

 

* Hatha flow, creating a class that flows.

 

* Vinyasa sequencing skills.

 

* Yin Yoga.

 

* Intro to kiddies

 

* Intro to pre-natal yoga.

 

* Pranayama, meditation and mantra.

 

* 8 Limbs of yoga.

* Essential Teachings of Yoga

 

* Anatomy and Physiology

 

 

  Tuition:

Teachers Training     NAD 20 000 

Early bird discount   NAD 15 000  

(pay deposit before 1st October.

Getting here is easy, book your flight to Walvis Bay Airport with either South African Airways or Air Namibia, please make prior arrangements with us for your shuttle pick-up.
